Are You an Addict for Self Improvement?

I’m a complete junkie when it comes to personal self improvement.  Self advancement.

Junkie may be too strong a word.  Certainly, addict is.  A fan is more correct, though you know what I mean.

Here’s a little something to think about, a tip that I use in my daily adventure:

And the secret to this commitment is to make it happen in small, bite size steps.

We must commit to change and grow at least 1% per day.  Anything bigger is too much.  I wouldn’t know how to do it.  All of us can do things in a step by step, incremental manner.  That’s how we learned to walk.

Organization.  Can you clean your whole office today and make it 100% organized?  If you’re like me, probably not.  But, I can change one area and commit to keep it organized while tackling the remaining areas.

Small, incremental steps.

Can you be completely fit and healthy by the end of the day.  Not likely, but if you’re like me you will do one thing to start even if it’s a short walk.

It’s a beginning.  And a way to succeed.

One of my favorite habits is to read.

I try to read early in the morning and get one or two ideas that I can put into practice that day.  Small, chewable bite size bits.

I seek change like an addict chases the next high.

This works for me, like a stream of water constantly seeking the lowest point and its eventual return to the ocean.
